Vietnam Day 4

Well we are on day 4 here in Vietnam. As I mentioned, our Giving and Receiving Ceremony at the Ministry of Justice has been delayed until Tuesday. Uggggg. That means a few more days here in Ho Chi Minh, but hopefully we can still get up to Hanoi and out by our December 29 flights. Please keep that in prayer because we do not want to have to change flight reservations.

Because of the extra days in HCMC we actually have to change rooms tomorrow. When we arrived we were suppose to have a two bedroom, but were upgraded to a three bedroom. Which was great when we were leaving tomorrow. Since we have to extend our stay, they need the three bedroom for a new long term guest coming in, so we are heded up a few floors to a two bedroom for the rest of our stay.

Today was a total kick back day. Lilli and Katelin woke up in their new Christmas pajamas (see above), then Lilli and I spent a couple hours in the pool, then we had a brief lunch, and nap. Katelin is our thinking sleeper. What a pose.

After naps we all headed to this great little clothing shop on Dong Khoi St, where we are getting some custom made clothes for the girls. Matching traditional silk Vietnamese outfits (ao dais) for Lilli, Katelin and Kristi (and a tie for me) at unbeliveable prices.
After a few more stores we came back to the apartment and I made a dinner of rice and pesto chicken with snow peas (I know not very Vietnamese, but it was good.) Then we spent an hour on SKYPE video calls to the family.
Now off to bed, and another day here in beautiful Vietnam. Lilli sends her best to everyone.

Dear Family,

Katelin AKA your thinker looks like she is saying "come on mom, tell me all about it." HEHEHE It makes me want to take her into my arms and tell her about her mommy....all good of course.

Love,
Aunt Kristen
